We are a Rome-based startup working on tourism and e-commerce exchanges between Italy and China. We are looking for a junior PMO for technological process who is expected to take on a key role in the implementation of the IT project, work closely with the operational and management team to form the backbone of our organisational structure. Responsibilities include: - Communicating with both Italian and Chinese technology IT providers and colleagues - Monitoring KPIs to ensure technology is provided by suppliers efficiently, within budget constraints and in time - Scouting for development of technical features from the Chinese digital ecosystem in line with business development goals - Support the team with daily operations related to the technological infrastructure - Describing the technological infrastructure, both in writing and orally, to partners, clients and investors. Prerequisites for selection are: mother tongue Mandarin Chinese (second generation immigrants included), and willingness to relocate to Rome. Proficiency in Italian would be a much appreciated plus. Mandatory qualifications are: - Master’s degree in computer science or related field - Minimum 2 years experience in technology-related position - Proven experience in project management - Extensive experience in data analysis and reporting - Demonstrated knowledge and interest for the Chinese digital ecosystem, both marketplaces and social media - Enthusiasm for diving into a new, innovative, exciting, time and resource-demanding project surrounded by a multicultural team.
