ITLS is a marketing and technology company supporting global brands on the Chinese market. We are looking for a freelance front-end developer specialized in WeChat Mini Programs. The freelancer will be responsible for front-end implementation on WeChat Mini Programs, including component creation, coding, testing, optimization and maintenance. The freelancer will work closely with the backend team, which will manage integrations and solution architecture. Core technical requirements: 3–5 years of experience with native WeChat Mini Program and UNIAPP development. Strong knowledge of WXML, WXSS, JS, and preferably TS. Good understanding of Mini Program project structure, page lifecycle methods, custom components, routing and navigation. Experience building reusable Mini Program components and maintaining clean, scalable front-end architecture. Familiarity with WeChat Mini Program APIs, including wx.request, wx.login, wx.getStorage, wx.setStorage, file upload and download APIs, sharing APIs, and message-related APIs where applicable. Ability to integrate Mini Program front end with REST APIs or cloud functions. Understanding of user authentication flows in WeChat Mini Programs, including passing login codes to the backend and handling session and token state securely. Experience with responsive mobile UI implementation using WXSS, including flexible layouts, device compatibility and pixel-perfect implementation from design files. Ability to debug and test using WeChat Developer Tools, real-device preview, simulator, logs and network inspection. Knowledge of Mini Program package-size management, performance optimization, lazy loading and subpackages. Familiarity with npm package usage inside WeChat Mini Programs and the WeChat Developer Tools build workflow. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain WeChat Mini Program pages, UI components and user flows. Convert Figma/design files into clean, responsive Mini Program interfaces. Integrate front-end pages with backend APIs, authentication, payment/order flows and user account features. Implement WeChat-specific features such as login, sharing, QR-code entry, storage and message functionality. Optimize page load speed, rendering performance and package size. Troubleshoot issues across iOS/Android WeChat clients and different device sizes. Work with backend developers to define API contracts, request/response formats, error handling and token/session management. Maintain readable, modular and well-documented code. English will be the working language and will be needed to communicate with colleagues and supervisors. Nice to have: familiarity with AI tools for Mini Program development.
