据意大利媒体报道，奋斗在意大利综合编译：根据意大利现行法律规定，到2023年1月1日起，意大利单次现金使用上线将由2000欧元降低至1000欧元。但如果中右翼政党获得选举胜利，则将这一限额升至1万欧元。
报道称，意大利中右翼政党联盟党Lega以及意大利力量党Forza Italia提议，将现金支付上线提升为1万欧元。而意大利兄弟党Fratelli d'Italia则希望取消小型企业的强制电子支付制度。

今年8月，意大利政党Lega、Fratelli d'Italia、Forza Italia、Noi Moderati联合签署的计划中，普遍建议将现金使用限制措施与欧盟平均水平保持一致，而欧盟更多的国家，则没有限制，比如，在德国、奥地利、荷兰、爱尔兰、瑞典等国，则对使用现金数额完全不限制，平均而言，欧盟国家现金使用上限平均值为4500欧元。

而随着选举的临近，意大利联盟党Lega和力量党Forza Italia均发布了各自的选举计划，计划将现金上线提高至1万欧元，而同为右翼政党的意大利兄弟党则Fratelli d'Italia甚至表示应该取消现金支付限额，并取消强制小型企业配备和使用POS机的法律。

根据联盟党Lega的说法，“立法限制了现金的使用，导致许多企业失去了习惯使用现金消费的客户，尤其是外国客户。而每个人都必须能够以他们喜欢的方式和金额自由地支付。”
报道称，因此如果意大利中右翼政党在选举中获胜，那么有理由相信，到2023年，意大利现金使用上限将可能被设置为1万欧元，并且废除小型商户强制使用POS机的规定。（奋斗在意大利）
